Technical Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to lead the technical aspects of our LNG energy project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery, ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the project team

• Develop and implement technical strategies and plans for the project

• Oversee design, construction and commissioning of LNG facilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations

• Manage technical risks and identify opportunities for improvement

• Coordinate with key stakeholders, including EPC contractors and regulatory authorities, to align technical implementation with project objectives.

• Lead technical aspects of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations with EVN and related subsidiaries (e.g., EVNNPT, NSMO), ensuring technical feasibility.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison with government authorities including MOIT, ensuring compliance and facilitating approvals throughout project development stages.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in energy project development, execution, and operations.

• Proven track record of technical leadership and project delivery

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related field

• In-depth knowledge of LNG industry trends, regulations, and technical standards

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, English fluency is preferred.

• Proven ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and government entities.

• Proven experience in leading technical PPA negotiations with EVN or its subsidiaries (e.g., EVNNPT, NSMO), along with strong networks across relevant regulatory authorities.
