Job Description:
As a Strategy and Risk Management Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective strategies and risk management practices to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the organization. You will work closely with senior management and various departments to identify potential risks, evaluate their impact on the organization, and develop proactive measures to mitigate those risks. Your role will involve analyzing market trends, conducting risk assessments, and designing strategies to enhance the organization's competitive position while minimizing potential threats. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to the organization's leadership team in decision-making processes to optimize risk-reward trade-offs.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the organization's objectives and risk appetite.
- Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and monitor potential risks that may impact the organization's operations, financial performance, or reputation.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize the impact of identified risks and enhance the organization's resilience.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management processes and strategies, recommending improvements as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to risk management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, address concerns, and build relationships that support effective risk management.
- Communication: Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct training programs and awareness campaigns to promote risk management awareness and a risk-conscious culture within the organization.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to respond effectively to unforeseen events or emergencies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in risk management, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.

- Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, risk management, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in strategy development, risk management, or a related role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of strategic planning, risk management principles, and industry-specific regulations. Familiarity with financial analysis and forecasting.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex information, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using risk assessment tools and techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to drive change, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in identifying and evaluating potential risks and designing appropriate risk management strategies.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
