Conduct weekly bottleneck utilization reviews, optimize resources, update new products, assess capacity utilization, manage change requests, oversee die bank and WIP levels, collaborate with teams, expedite operations, interface with departments, and monitor delivery performance. In your new role you will:
- Conduct a weekly review of bottleneck utilization and optimize it for the next 26 weeks, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and updating new products to ensure their seamless integration into the production process.
- Assess capacity utilization and batch loading to identify areas of improvement and optimize production workflows.
- Manage change requests and promises, including trigger points, approval, and execution, to ensure minimal disruptions to production.
- Oversee the die bank and work-in-progress (WIP) levels on the shop floor, ensuring optimal cycle times and efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with the Production team and Resource Planning (RP) to generate a monthly loading plan, structured to meet production demands.
- Expedite operations to ensure timely delivery fulfillment and analyze factory performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Interface with Supply Chain Planning (SCP), Production Planning and Control (PLC), Resource Planning (RP), and Industrial Engineering (IE) to ensure effective communication, delivery, and support.
- Monitor delivery performance and develop catch-up plans for urgent or critical matters, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration in Logistics and Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering, is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 0-2 years of working experience in production planning within the electronics industry is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills to drive data-driven decision making are required.
- Proficient in computer literacy, with expertise in MS-Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary.
- Proactive, hardworking, and energetic, with a strong service-oriented mindset, is essential for this role.
- Excellent command of English, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently, is required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with high self-motivation and the ability to effectively solve problems, are necessary.
- Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
