Job Description
1. Job Purpose:
Assess and negotiate with both existing and new suppliers, and collaborate with in-house clients. Responsible for managing purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring accurate cost and product codes, and coordinating with established vendors. Seek new suppliers locally and globally, building and maintaining relationships to efficiently manage the supply market.
2. Main Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Solutions: Provide effective sourcing solutions aligned with the brand’s needs.
- Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily operations including delivery coordination, price/cost analysis, contract negotiations, compliance with policies and procedures, logistical coordination, and liaising with other company functions.
- Demand and Supply Management: Ensure accurate demand forecasting and reliable supply for short, medium, and long-term needs.
- Raw Material Procurement: Manage procurement of raw materials and develop new products in line with the Marketing Calendar. Ensure timely launch of new products with no supply disruptions.
- Customer Interaction: Regularly interact with in-house customers to achieve cooperative strategies.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and manage strong relationships with suppliers.
- Supply Planning: Plan supply levels to maintain adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
- Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers focusing on total cost rather than just price.
- Supplier Sourcing: Identify and evaluate new potential suppliers to reduce product costs.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
