Senior Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and communicate a passion for digital products and services

• Assists with analysis of how business requirements can be technically implemented

• Integrates large and complex systems

• Utilizes proactive problem-solving to address challenges and functional concerns

• Helps implement advanced organizational and planning skills to developmental projects

• Balances competing priorities while adhering to deadlines and aligning resources with value demands

• Helps design online and mobile IT architecture, drawing on knowledge of open source and/or commercially available platforms

• Applies industry best practices and design patterns to create scalable and secure solutions that have superior technical performance

• Develops system implementation plans/processes and oversee the development, integration, testing and launch stages of Product

• Assists in driving the implementation of key processes related to building Product as a digital business

• Evaluates third-party suppliers, products and solutions and engage in/leading collaborative discussions

• Designs and establish an accredited third-party supplier network of IT/digital delivery partners

• Assists with the hiring, development and management of a team of system analysts

What we are looking for

• Deep understanding of business strategy and ability to craft software/platform/infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes

• Knowledge or experience with Microservices (AKS, Java Spring Boot, NodeJS), Cloud based architectures (Azure Cloud), API gateways (APIM); demonstrate and communicate a passion for digital products and services

• Experience with large or complex system integration projects

• Good track record of dealing with complex bespoke solutions requiring creative & complex investigations and evaluations of alternative architectural solutions

• Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy

• Experience leading and collaborating across teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions

• Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods

• Constantly learns from both success and failure

• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion

• Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
