Job Accountabilities

• Oversee production plans and job assignments, coordinating with the previous shift Foreman for seamless transitions.
• Ensure machine readiness and prepare necessary materials according to the production plan.
• Manage, assign tasks, guide, and coach the production team, providing support during operations.
• Maintain continuous, efficient production (TE) and ensure adherence to Process Control and Product specifications to meet KPIs.
• Verify packaging accuracy and conduct regular product quality checks to meet standards.
• Operate and monitor packaging machines to minimize waste and ensure efficient performance.
• Lead autonomous maintenance in own area, performing and overseeing regular checks and maintenance tasks.
• Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) and conduct one-point lessons to enhance team skills and processes, while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace in compliance with GMP and Food Safety principles.

Qualifications

Education:

• Atleast higher vocational but Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Proven experience in a foreman role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with machine operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with GMP, Food Safety, and EHS standards.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to interpret and implement production plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in data recording and reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Knowledge:

• Understanding of Process Control and Product specifications.
• Knowledge of autonomous maintenance practices and principles.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen).
