The Position:

• Recommend optimal flavors / products timely which meet customer needs and requirement
• Develop, improve and maintain Symrise Thailand & Myanmar collection for strategic customers and distributors to achieve optimal flavor selection
• Manage portfolio library and stock replenishment, and review stock effectiveness
• Analyse project pipeline, market needs and trends to identify potential flavor gaps
• Work with regional portfolio and technical team to deliver products to fill identified gaps
• Ensure the internal flavor system is updated with relevant product data
• Support regional sensory team for selection and justification of descriptors
• Organise sensory descriptor training for internal stakeholders and customers when required
• Drive the usage of Symscript in evaluating current collection and describing gaps
• Set up proper internal panel to support sensory evaluation and customer projects

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Chemistry or equivalent
• At least 10-15 years of experience in Food / Flavor industry
• Excellent sensory evaluation skill is mandatory
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work in fast-pace environment, customer-centric, agile and able to multitask
• Strong team player, creative, independent, self-starter and resilient.
