Senior Logistics Officer (Import)

• Manage and plan on product import by sea or air freight in accordance with steps and rules, including customs clearance and documentation to ensure it is running smoothly.
• Cooperate with cross-functional departments such as Merchandise, Finance and others to ensure all Importation activity will be performed efficiently to support business growth as company goal.
• Liaise with Regulators, Freight forwarders, Customs broker and other third parties to ensure shipment will be arrive on time and accurate import/export processes and license regulations and paperwork.
• Submit specification and datasheet in NSW to get TISI License before shipment arrival.
• Monitor and analyze import/export data to identify compliance issues and take corrective actions.
• Maintain and update the import/export compliance database.
• Monitor and report of import shipment and license tracker.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to imports and exports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Regulators, Customs authorities, and other relevant organizations.
• Prepare and submit required reports to internal, Country General manager.
• Overseeing the issue of import licenses and completion of monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner.
• Support responsible for product registrations and related regulatory activities.
• Compilation of registration documentation in co-operation with supplier/manufacturers.
• Ensuring compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Import-Export operation
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs clearance processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing.
• Chinese speaking is preferred
