Providing centralized support to Engagement CFOs, CSTs on the Engagement Life Cycle (ELC)
Supporting Engagement CFOs/CST Leadership in RfP, pricing, budgeting and planning of an engagement
Reviewing engagement set-up and ensuring compliance with firm’s policies & local tax compliance, prior to the start of the project
Reviewing contract commercial terms, navigating CST through any exception approval process
Managing a portfolio of WIPs on monthly basis, working to resolve any discrepancies, ensuring that accounting entries and adjustments are performed in a timely manner, by month-end close and playing a pivotal role with all stakeholders
Collaborating with client’s procurement and finance team on the deliverables acceptance process, resolving any issues that may arise; providing impact calculation and reconciliations to enable billings
Monitoring and analyzing billing and collection aging; working with Engagement CFO/ Engagement Directors to ensure invoices are sent on schedule, AR collected on time and following-up on outstanding ARs with clients as necessary
Tracking non-standard arrangements, ensuring proper accounting of revenues and reserves, escalating any high risk situations
Ensuring compliance with global revenue policies
Working closely with ASO Finance Leadership to implement policies and procedures across seven Southeast Asia offices
Assisting both local Finance teams and Corporate Tax team with the ELC aspects of internal / local statutory/ tax / ad-hoc state audits
Taking on other ad-hoc responsibilities that may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from a reputable university, or a certified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA) equivalent
5+ years in finance field or relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Strong command in English and Thai language in both oral and written communications
Excellent in analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and data visualization skills is a plus
Strong stakeholder management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Exposure to analysis tools such as SAP Cloud Analytics, Tableau, OBIE, SQL and Access queries would be an added advantage
Experience working directly with senior leadership within the organization; and in a multinational/highly-matrixed professional services environment would be an added advantage
