Perform well operational performance analysis, reports the insights, deficiencies, gaps, or opportunities for improvement and partnering with business units to deliver the solution.
Conduct engineering study and technical publications relating to well design, well operation, reservoir, and production optimization to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in energy industry.
Support and work in with multi-disciplinary project (e.g. green field development, synergy performance improvement, energy transition project) to deliver One team One goal
Perform Subject matter expert(SME) role in the area of expertise cover
Establish, maintain, improve and govern Well engineering Standards/Guideline
Advice and support in technical assurance process.
Organize the knowledge sharing activities and KM management collaboration platform.
Champion the Community of Practice (CoP).
Promote networking with internal and external experts.
Support contracting and procurement process with technical specifications & evaluation
Develop well performance database by extracting well information and critical operation statistics from existing well engineering database to develop visualized dashboard for ease of monitoring and making decision,
Provide consultation, coach, mentor to develop engineering staff’s competencies.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical) or equivalent
More than 12 years’ experience in drilling and well engineering with at least 4 years of field operations experience
Specialized skills and knowledge in various aspects and working environment (e.g. SC, HPHT, CCS) within discipline
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a team lead in any drilling or well engineering projects
Having broad knowledge in related disciplines such as subsurface, reservoir, drilling, well engineering, facility, production and able to effectively communicate with other disciplines
Abilities to work and deliver in multi-disciplinary atmosphere
Good understanding in well engineering database system e.g. WellView® and its infrastructure,
Good computer literacy (e.g. MS Office)
Good command of both written and spoken English (TOEIC ≥ 750)
