Security Operations Engineer
Job Description
**Incident Response:** Serve as the first line of defense for security incidents within the client's environment, applying basic incident management strategies to mitigate issues.
Requirements
**Education & Certification:**
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Entry-level certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Network+ are preferred.
**Experience:**
- Minimum 1 year in a technical support, IT operations, or basic cybersecurity role.
- Experience with customer service or client-facing roles is advantageous.
**Skills & Knowledge:**
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices.
- Understanding of common cybersecurity threats and preventative measures.
- Ability to use and manage standard security software (e.g., antivirus, firewall).
**Personal Attributes:**
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen willingness to learn.
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts in clear terms.
