You’ll make a difference by:
- Collaborate with business users, IT functional teams, and service providers to implement requirements within Siemens' SAP landscape
- Support Siemens IT Security process and requirements (SAP ABAP)
- Ensure the stability, performance and maintainability of our SAP ERP landscape
- Monitor and ensure implementations are future-oriented and maintainable
- Ensure integration system activities meet all SLAs, including monitoring technical architecture for scalability, availability, and archiving
- Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team
- Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities.
You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or over 10 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language, development tools and integration management
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and proficiency in SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and HR, along with knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, will be advantageous
- Skilled in SAP enhancement techniques (e.g. User Exits, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, SAP BTP integration) with strong understanding of SAP integration technologies (e.g. IDoc, RFC, BAPI)
- Familiarity with SAP Workflow, SAPScript, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms
- Ability to understand business requirements, align requirements with business and translate the requirements into SAP functional specifications (related to SAP ABAP)
- Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken) with effective communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail
