What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)
- Performs all sales activity within an assigned geographic territory to meet company objectives.
- Annually submits and implements a detailed sales action plan identifying: On-line Process and Lab instrument sales objectives, sales opportunities for customers, and regional shows to be attended during the following fiscal year by SFDC
- Participates in sales activities including key customer site visits, developing the On-line Process and Lab instrument business, increasing our On-line Process and Lab instrument market share, trade seminars/shows, workshops, product demonstrations
- Submit annually, monthly and weekly sales forecasts to Sales Manager
- Maintains customer activity files in SFDC
- Work closely with the Sales Manager, Application Engineer, and Marketing team, to drive the business through the existing strategy
- Collects and reports information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)
- Prefer a BA or BS degree in Chemical, Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered.
- 1-4 Years of Sales experience, but fresh graduate also welcome in similar products and services in industrial segment (Chemical/F&B/Electronic/Pharma) eg, sales of high turnover commodities preferred
- Individuals equipped with a more technically inclined sales approach will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT software to facilitate sales-related administrative work, in areas of quotations & project bid proposals preparations.
