Ensure that the product quality is measured and monitored and is accountable for demonstrating measurable improvements
Write clear and concise manual test scripts and execute them
Communicate product quality and test results to different stakeholders
Coordinate testing activities with the leadership team, product/project management and development to ensure delivery timelines satisfy business needs
Help improve team’s efficiency and balance workload against deadlines and limitations
Review product requirements and design documents and adhere to implementation schedules to deliver products that meets agreed-upon quality standards and design expectations
Develop and maintain automation framework for web and mobile applications
Set the strategy for testing on all related features, enhancements and bug fixes
Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
Accurately assess risk level of code changes, and calibrate the testing approach as needed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field is preferred
2+ years of experience writing and executing manual test scripts
2+ years of experience in working in an agile and continuous delivery environment.
1+ years of experience with Selenium, Robot framework or other similar web automation testing frameworks
Previous experience with Agile Methodology such as Scrum or Kanban
Strong SQL skills and previous experience with databases (specifically MySQL and Postgres, etc.)
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and be self-driven.
Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, humility and an acute focus on detail and process
Preferred Qualifications
Keen understanding of managing test data to achieve repeatability in test results
Ability to mentor/teach new team members the system functionality and assist in on-boarding.
Great team player – need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with different stakeholders including engineers, testers, product managers, and user experience leads
Leads and Participates in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Debugs data issues between and within systems.
Experience in looking at and analyzing system logs to assist in triaging issues
Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles with medium to large teams to achieve a common goal
