Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and operate manual software verification tests;
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with Project managers and Developers
• Design, develop, and execute test cases;
• Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs;
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and project managers) to identify system requirements;
• Make recommendations for improvements;
• Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions, as well as implementing them where necessary;
• Develop a test plan for existing and upcoming features and products.
• Perform firm product testing and communicate results to key stakeholders.
• Work closely with the development and product teams to ensure smooth and timely releases
• Work in collaboration with developers to identify and solve bugs.
• Own quality testing before each release.
• Actively contribute to setting up good company quality processes and goals within the company.
• Work with our engineering and product team to develop test plans, validate test fixtures, and oversee all quality processes.
• Diagnose functional issues, report bugs, and take ownership of issue resolution.
• Being proactive and able to work independently.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely, and meaningful feedback.
• Perform firm product testing on Web, Mobile, and API.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
