Product Owner Compute
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Product Vision and Roadmap
a. Develop and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with stakeholder objectives.
b. Identify market opportunities and customer needs.
c. Create and maintain a technology product roadmap.
d. Identify emerging technologies with potential applications.
e. Define and communicate the product's value proposition.
2. Requirements Definition and Prioritization
a. Gather and prioritize user stories and product features based on business value.
b. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and market trends.
c. Create and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog.
d. Define user stories, features, and acceptance criteria for technology projects.
3. Technology Solution and Delivery
a. Work closely with development and implementation teams to ensure technology solutions meet business need and deliver on time on budget.
b. Provide guidance and clarification to development teams during the implementation phase.
c. Monitor project progress and remove impediments to delivery.
4. Stakeholder Communication
a. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
b. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring alignment.
c. Communicate technology project updates and outcomes to stakeholders.
5. Usability and User Experience
a. Ensure that the product is user-friendly and aligns with business processes.
b. Gather user feedback and incorporate usability improvements into product development.
c. Prioritize features that enhance the user experience.
6. Product Performance and Optimization
a. Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success.
b. Identify areas for improvement and optimization based on data-driven insights.
c. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the product.
7. Compliance and Risk Management
a. Ensure that technology solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
b. Identify and mitigate technology-related risks with your product.
c. Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams.
8. People Management
a. Lead and mentor members of the product team
b. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
c. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
d. Facilitate effective communication and cooperation within the team.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
• Certification in product management or agile methodologies is advantageous.
Experience:
• 10 years of experience in product ownership or related roles.
• Demonstrated success in delivering digital products or services.
• Familiarity with processes and technologies in the product domain
• Familiarity with product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Experience in Project and Supplier Management
