Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:
Safety
- Drive Safety awareness and safe work environment to working team
- Safety Element owner role to drive safety system as required in Safety standard – develop system, provide training, and pass safety audit
- Working with Safety coordinator to support Government or Legal requirements
- Apply Safety standard to related works such as MOC, Risk assessment etc.
Quality:
- Drive team to work comply with Quality standard – make sure that only good products are released to customers
- Lead team to do product quality improvement or investigation for customer complaint
- Lead team to rework product on hold / Raw material issues
- Lead team to pass Quality audits such as QMS, FSC etc.
- Lead team to conduct Trials – new products, new raw materials
- Work with other functions to support quality data as requested
- Work with QA to provide Quality training to team
- Lead team to control good run settings
Productivity:
- Drive team to achieve productivity target – OEE, Waste, ROP
- Lead team to do Productivity improvement, Process improvement or investigation for production issues
- Work with Maintenance team / Planner team to run machine with highest efficiency
- Provide technical knowledge to team
- Develop work standards
- Work with planner in set up BOM / Routing etc.
- Control actual usage vs BOM / Routing
Energy / City water consumption:
- Drive team to apply work practices to save Energy / City water
Continuous Improvement program:
- Lead team to apply Best Practices, Lean Manufacturing tools to asset
- Lead workshop or Work with Global team
- Project assignments such LSS Green belt certify, OPEX etc.
Cost saving project:
- Drive cost saving program to get saving as planned
- Provide more initiatives for cost saving
Wastewater treatment operation:
- Lead team to operate Wastewater treatment system in good efficiency and comply Government Regulations
- Keep Continuously Improve Wastewater treatment process or machines
General - Documentation:
- Provide monthly reports
- Owner in Etq document system
- Good participation to company programs
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical or other engineering.
- Process/ Production engineer experience.
- Able to proficiently use at least one of the tech tools :XL (Macros), Alteryx, R, Tableau, PowerB, Python, KNIME, SAS, Spark.
- 2-3 years’ experience in LEAN Manufacturing or Process Improvement fields.
- Good understanding in supply chain overview process from end to end.
- Analytical, Decision Making and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with good time management, organization, prioritization skills and deliver result on time.
- Self-Motivation, Fast learning and Team working.
- Good command in English Skills and Basic Microsoft Office Programs.
