Portfolio Manager

About the Role

Siam Alpha Equity is seeking a dedicated Portfolio Manager to join our team in Bangkok. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our investment portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

• Work closely with portfolio companies to monitor fund’s investment, business plan and overall performance to provide advice and help drive business to achieve goals.

• Manage portfolio’s companies’ bod and shareholder meeting process to ensure it complies with the laws and shareholder’s agreement.

• Prepare the cases/requests from the portfolio companies to present and get approval from the investment committee.

• Liaison and work closely with fund manager to update portfolio companies’ performance and other relevant issues.

• Seek exit opportunities for portfolio companies to maximize fund’s return and execute relevant M&A transaction.

• Arrange and organize relevant internal/external meeting and meeting materials.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or postgraduate in finance or related fields

• 1-2 years of investment/financial advisory experience (VC/PE, investment banking, private equity is preferred)

• Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated

• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modelling

• Experienced with financial projection/investment valuation techniques is a plus

• Ability to produce well designed professional looking PowerPoint presentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• A natural hustler with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Hard working with can-do attitude, eager to learn

• Experience in start-up, venture capital or investment banking is favorable however not required
