Job Purpose:
1. To find new solutions/platform for the Company Strategic direction by connecting with internal BU and external networks e.g. startups, academia, corporation etc.
2. To gather insights (e.g. customer behavior and technology trends) for new product development/process improvement
3. Well manage, plan and strategy design to support internal R&D, BU and executives
Job Descriptions:
- Collaborate with the research development team, internal BU, Academia, Government (e.g. FDA)
- Work closely with researcher team, connect and follow-up with external partners
- Identify BU’s challenges: scope, communication, proposal evaluation, support R&D, NPD, BU for collaboration agreement
- Connect and identify needs from R&D, NPD, internal BU
- Technology and trends scouting and evaluation
- Partnership identification
- Project management/coordinator/support and follow-up
- Work with colleagues to structure and identify technology trends, customer behavior insights, etc.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s open innovation strategy, aligning with the company's overall business objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Food sciences, Food Biotechnology, Science and Innovation management, Biotechnology, or other related degree.
- 5+ years of professional experience in open innovation activity
- Experience with building and growing relationships in innovation ecosystems (internal R&D, BUs, Academics, Government agency)
- Experience with corporate venturing and working in collaboration with startups is a plus
- Experience with foresight, especially technology trends and customer behavior
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, and cross-functional environment
- Project management experiences e.g., resources, deliverables, and timelines
- Knowledge of innovation methodologies, food-related disciplines such as food science, human nutrition, product development and food industry management or related field
- Knowledge in FDA process/regulation process and understand of novel food process, and health claim.
