We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join ooca Clinic. The Nurse will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and supporting the overall well-being of patients. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep sense of empathy towards patients and their families.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health conditions and create individualized care plans
- Patient Care
- Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and established protocols
- Monitor patients' vital signs, reactions to medications, and overall mental health status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans
- Document all interventions, changes in condition, and patient responses in a timely and thorough manner
- Ensure compliance with legal and institutional regulations regarding patient records
- Communication
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, providing education and emotional support
- Report patients' conditions and any changes to the mental healthcare team in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with psychologist and psychiatrist to develop and implement care plans
- Medication Management
- Safely prepare, administer, and monitor the effects of medications
- Educate patients about prescribed medications, potential side effects, and proper administration techniques
- Follow established procedures for hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), and isolation precautions
- Set up and monitor the TMS to ensure proper usage, therapy, and safety for patients
- Emergency Response
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as required
- Patient Advocacy
- Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring that their rights and dignity are respected
- Address patients' concerns, questions, and provide emotional support
Requirements
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree (preferred) or associate degree in nursing (ADN) with relevant experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records systems
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
