Network Security Engineer (WAF)

Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy WAF rules and policies to prevent web attacks
• Monitor WAF logs and analytics to identify potential security threats
• Tune WAF rules to minimize false positives and false negatives
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure WAF compatibility with web applications
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web threats and update WAF rules accordingly
• Implement and maintain WAF solutions in cloud and on-premise environments
• Develop and maintain documentation for WAF configurations and processes

Required Skill:

• 6+ years of experience in WAF administration or related field
• Strong understanding of web application security and threat landscape
• Experience with multiple WAF solutions (e.g. OWASP ModSecurity, F5 ASM, Imperva WAF)
• Knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, UDP)
• Administration and troubleshooting experience in WAF
• Familiarity with cloud application security tools (e.g. Zscaler, Netskope, Cisco Umbrella)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ready to work in Rotational Shifts (24*7 Support role)
