Merchandiser (Open for new grads)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing product assortments, ensuring alignment with sales and trend forecasts.
• Monitor stock levels and sales performance to ensure products are available in the right quantities at the right time.
• Support visual merchandising efforts by coordinating with store teams to ensure Skechers displays meet brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the sales team to analyze sales data and recommend actions to improve product performance.
• Assist with the preparation of merchandising reports, sales forecasts, and product orders.
• New Category Projects: Assist in the introduction of new product categories, working closely with Skechers Thailand to develop strategies for launch, product assortment, and marketing initiatives.
• Expansion Projects: Participate in store expansion initiatives by helping to plan product placement, assess inventory needs, and coordinate with store operations to ensure smooth execution.
• Special Projects: Support ad-hoc merchandising projects, such as limited edition releases, seasonal promotions, or collaborations with external partners.
• Help coordinate the launch of new Skechers collections in stores and online.
• Work with logistics to ensure smooth delivery and replenishment of stock.
• Participate in meetings with suppliers and buyers to discuss upcoming products, orders, and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Strong interest in fashion, retail, and footwear, with a passion for the Skechers brand.
• Basic understanding of merchandising principles, product assortments, and inventory management.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the retail and merchandising industry.
• Good command of English and Thai (written and spoken).
