What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Manager, you will manages all marketing activities of assigned product to support company objectives. Conducts analyses of the market segment, including identification of key growth drivers, opportunities and risks. Incorporates results of analysis into product strategy.
Accountabilities:
- Develop brand strategy and marketing plans
- Leads complex projects that address the changing commercial environment with regard to increasing the effectiveness of AstraZeneca’s Marketing functions
- Identify unmet needs throughout patient treatment journey and collaborate cross-functionally to develop impactful solutions to patients
- Facilitate development and execution of unbranded initiatives to support patient/caregiver education
- Lead partner agency relationships, workflow and related expense budgets
- Build alliances with internal team members to help with cross-functional planning and to ensure a strong, evidence-based approach to support the delivery of marketing materials
- Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials
Key Competencies
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing function.
- Marketing experience (developing brand strategy, performing positioning, messaging, segmentation, targeting, leading ad agency, providing direction on annual budget planning)
- Experience across multiple promotional channels
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, able to multi-task and ensure timelines are met.
- Solid business acumen and management experience.
- Demonstrated relationship development and management capability
Desirable competencies:
- Experience managing strategic projects
- In depth knowledge of customer segments and marketing dynamics
