Review and negotiate commercial contracts for the Group’s Business Units Performance Materials and Technology globally
Advise the Business on corporate/commercial/intellectual property (IP)/competition/labor/M&A/anti-trust laws, etc.
Manage litigations/arbitrations, in cooperation with external legal counsels and represent the Group in legal proceedings to ensure DKSH's interests are well protected
Investigate, prepare reports and highlight legal risks to the relevant stakeholders; provide recommendations as to how DKSH adequately mitigate legal risks
Manage and execute Group/regional legal projects (including the drafting/implementation of new standard operating procedures, guidelines and manuals)
Support the development of legal trainings to the Business Units Performance Materials and Technology
Perform other ad hoc matters for the Legal function
Functional Skills And Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of, contract and commercial law, corporate law, antitrust and intellectual property law with in-depth experience in distribution and agency contracts as an advantage
Excellent writing and speaking skills in English
Efficient, proactive, systematic and well organized, able to execute multiple projects simultaneously, attentive to detail, trustworthy and sensitive to other cultures
Pronounced sense of adherence to quality even in hectic situations
Demonstrate ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
Bachelor's degree in law or higher.
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in private practice or in-house legal department of multinational corporation
