To design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain our current mobile digital currency exchange app
Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features – translating business requirements to high-quality code
Work with Restful and Web-socket APIs
Integrating 3rd party SDKs while maintaining application security.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the Android application
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
Demonstrable portfolio of working experience in Android (Kotlin) app development and general software development.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, from Android 5.0 and above, and how to deal with different screen sizes and device profiles
Strong knowledge of Android UI and architecture design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Experience working with remote data via REST and Web-Socket.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs and SDKs integration.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration
Ability to perform in a team environment
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
