IT System Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Platform Management

• Manage and maintain the platform, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations for various applications.

• Oversee Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configurations and policies.

• Provision and deprovision user accounts and access in accordance with company policies.

• Monitor user access and ensure compliance with security protocols.

• Perform regular audits of user accounts and access rights.

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses related to identity and access management.

• Respond to and mitigate security incidents related to identity services.

• Provide technical support for system-related issues and resolve incidents promptly.

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve integration and system issues.

• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Monitor and manage network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.

• Install, configure, and maintain software on laptops for new and existing employees.

• Ensure that all laptops meet company standards and security policies.

• Provide initial setup and orientation for new users on their laptops and software.

• Participate in IAM and IT infrastructure-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

• Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and IT staff.

• Promote security awareness and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in identity and access management.

• Proven experience administering Okta or similar IAM platforms.

• Solid experience in general system administration.

• Strong understanding of identity management concepts, SSO, MFA, and security best practices.

• Proficiency in integrating Okta with various applications and services.

• Familiarity with protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.

• Experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).

• Knowledge of server and network administration, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Experience with laptop software installation, configuration, and user setup.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and security.

• Certified system Administrator or similar certification.

• Knowledge of cloud-based services and their integration

• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
