Internal Auditor

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and report on internal audits of financial and operational processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices.
• Identify and assess areas of risk or control weaknesses, recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to obtain a deep understanding of business processes.
• Conduct follow-up audits to verify the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports for management review.
• Provide guidance and support to departments to enhance risk management and control environments.
• Travel to various branches and locations as necessary to conduct on-site audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal audit and/or accounting.
• Willingness to travel and work in upcountry locations.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in computer applications; knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and Power Automate is a plus.
