Innovation Business Development (Strategy)
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall Business Strategy: Proactively identify, evaluate, and execute strategic business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company's innovation goals.
• Innovative Business Model Development: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive business development strategies and plans to increase our market presence, expand our customer base, and drive growth.
• Sales Strategy: Lead the formulation and execution of sales strategies or acquisition strategies to ensure the successful attainment of company targets.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, potential clients, and untapped market opportunities.
• Opportunity Identification and Evaluation: Proactively identify, evaluate, and execute strategic business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company's innovation goals.
• Proposal Development and Presentation: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings, promoting our innovative solutions and services.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance our reputation and encourage collaboration.
• Project Management and Execution: Lead the execution of strategic initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on business development performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve targets and objectives.
• Strategic Decision Support: Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
• Collaboration Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies that align with business development initiatives.
• Business & Company Representation: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• Significant experience in business development or sales, preferably within a consulting or technology-focused environment.
• Robust understanding of innovation consulting and product development processes.
• Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities, with strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
