Key Responsibilities:
Data Infrastructure Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines to integrate and process data from various HR systems (e.g., ATS, HRIS, payroll, and performance management tools).
- Build scalable and secure data architecture to support HR analytics and reporting needs.
Data Management and Integration:
- Ensure seamless data integration across multiple platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to manage APIs and other integration tools.
Data Quality and Governance:
- Develop and enforce data quality standards, ensuring HR data integrity and security.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Analytics and Reporting Support:
- Partner with HR Analytics and Business Intelligence teams to create and optimize dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
- Enable predictive analytics by preparing and organizing data for machine learning and statistical models.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with HR and business leaders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Train and support HR teams in accessing and interpreting data insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably with exposure to HR data systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
- Familiarity with HR software and platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
