Hostess Manager

Position Details

Job Description


  • Effectively manage the flow of bookings into the venue.
  • Answer phones, take dining reservations, and enter diner information into the reservation system.
  • Maintain a waitlist and quote accurate wait times.
  • Make appropriate seating decisions using the station rotation chart.
  • Organize seating for large and special needs groups.
  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party.
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table; pulling out chairs; placing a clean/current menu in front of guests, etc.
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance.
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard place setting.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, and safety.
  • Communicate with guests and other team members to meet guest needs.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager.


Qualifications


  • College Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant/Bar operations management role.
  • Passion for leadership and teamwork.
  • Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
  • Understand F&B trends in Bangkok Market
  • Excellent guest service skills.
