Job Purpose:
Our Head of IoT Product will drive the business strategy and development of products within the Digital Infrastructure business of True Digital Group
Product Management
- Maintaining an in-depth view of the IoT market in terms of segmentation, propositions & use cases gaining traction, the technology & vendor ecosystem including competitors
- Evolving the overall IoT Strategy with the aim of developing repeatable and profitable propositions
- Shaping IoT Product Roadmap: including vendor selection, technology choices, software platform selection and the training & development of the technical and operational delivery teams
- Collaborating with the relevant teams to develop compelling IoT propositions
- Working with the Commercial, Finance and Sector teams to optimize pricing approaches and bid models
- Understand and manage product life cycles, new product development ideation and process management
- Owns the product profitability and drives positive revenue and gross margin growth
- Integrate customer requirement and deliver on customer needs on time and budget
Technical Consultancy
- Ongoing development of IoT platforms, services and security, as well as the provision of expert guidance and support to ensure its continued operational performance
- End-to-end service development, spanning sensor and application server, encompassing research, creation and testing of new IoT solutions & devices
- Align outward facing product requirements and stakeholders
Partner/Vendor Management
- Fostering partner engagement and developing strategic alliances with new partners and vendors that align with Product and Proposition strategy
- Maintain Vendor relationships in line with the vendor governance structure.
- Keep abreast of strategic partner roadmaps
Program & Project Management:
- Establish/maintain a project management framework in line with strategic objectives; Direct and control the on-time delivery of programs and projects
Strategy & Planning:
- Own the product planning process including new product additions, sunset current products; product pricing;,
- Integrate inputs to develop distinctive product plans with outstanding financial outcomes for strategy planning cycle
- End to end team output strategy from inception to production
Pricing:
- Develop dynamic pricing strategies based on value delivered, input costs, market trends and forecasts
Customer Engagement:
- Communicate the value of the product to customer; Effectively translate customer and business needs into actionable product requirements
- Provide appropriate information of products (specifications, documentation, pricing, lead times etc.) to support sales process and customer inquiries

- Strategic Skills: Understanding and experience with the ability to practically apply to their product line. Must link strategies to financial results.
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience in product management and success in leading the product. and a confident, mature professional with the ability to connect with others. Ability to lead projects and teams that successfully achieve milestones and complete deliverables.
