Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to your team members. This involves setting goals, defining strategies, and ensuring alignment with the overall objectives of the organization.
- Work alongside IT and data engineers to develop technology standard for current and future technology platforms (e.g., Cloud, data, infrastructure, office applications etc.)
- Responsible for translating complex data analyses into easy-to-understand visualizations and reports. This involves selecting the most appropriate visualization techniques and tools to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Manage a team of professional data services to ensure the delivery of high-quality data consistency and accuracy to the service level agreed upon with the business to support business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance data capabilities by creating a data roadmap and a process to ensure alignment with key stakeholders on new requests (new data sets, additional sources, dashboards, etc.) and prioritization.
- Work closely with senior management to identify key business questions and challenges that can be addressed through data analysis. You would then develop data-driven strategies and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Steer the technology stack and business applications to comply with regulations, internal cybersecurity policies, and internal and external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and requirements. By working cross-functionally, you can ensure that data insights are aligned with the needs of different business units and contribute to overall organizational success.
Key Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- 10+ years working experience in Information Technology, Project Management, and/or Business Process Management.
- Extensive experience working in the financial services sector, preferably in banking, insurance, investment, or fintech. Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory frameworks is crucial.
- Proven leadership abilities to lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data product owners. Experience in fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. Allocates resources effectively and removes obstacles strong communication skills, experience motivating people & will exhibit strong strategic & technical leadership skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the strategic objectives of the organization and align data initiatives to support these goals. Experience in using data insights to drive business growth, optimize processes, and improve decision-making.
- Past experiences working in digital or technology companies advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and recommend IT Strategies and/or Business Process Management improvement processes.
- Significant expertise with vendor contract negotiations, compliance and relationship building.
- Ability to work across diverse organizations and lead complex internal and external project teams.
- Fluent both Thai and English
