Financial Data Analyst - VNGGames

We are looking for a Data Analyst specializing in financial data to join our GDS team. In this role, you will work closely with Finance, Payment, Planning, and Product teams to manage and analyze financial data, build dashboards, and deliver insights. 

In addition to day-to-day analytics, you will support the FP&A team in developing a centralized Financial Data Hub, collaborating with AI and Product teams to design data-driven products such as chatbots, self-service analytics dashboards, and insight automation solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Analyze financial data and monitor key metrics: revenue, P&L, ROI, forecasts, and payment performance. 

• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for financial KPIs. 

• Support FP&A on planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI evaluation. 

• Collaborate with AI and Product teams to develop data products (chatbots, automated analytics reports, self-service dashboards). 

• Contribute to designing and implementing a Financial Data Hub to centralize and streamline financial reporting. 

• Work closely with Finance, FP&A, Payment, and Product stakeholders to align KPIs, reporting requirements, and insights. 

• Ensure data quality and consistency across multiple sources for reliable reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields. 

• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or financial reporting. 

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or similar BI tools), and Excel. 

• Basic knowledge of Python/R is a plus. 

• Solid understanding of financial KPIs: revenue, P&L, ROI, payment success, refund, and forecasting. 

• Good English skills (written & verbal) to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and a growth-oriented attitude. 

Nice to have: 

• Experience supporting FP&A in P&L analysis, planning, and forecasting. 

• Familiarity with payment systems, financial reconciliation, or budget variance analysis. 

• Background in gaming, fintech, or e-commerce is a plus.
