Develop and execute sourcing strategies i.e. raw materials and packaging materials, in alignment with Corporate procurement sourcing strategies and CPF business priorities
Develop strong and effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into category sourcing plans, and ensure successful implementation and execution.
Establish best-in-class aligned standards and ensure performance of strategic supply partners is systematically reviewed and measured at agreed intervals
Ensure sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and supplier performance management practices are in place and managed.
Build strong and strategic supplier relationships with key suppliers to encourage an open dialogue and drive financial advantages, product quality, innovation and the sustainability agenda
Cultivate pool of alternate and diversified suppliers to protect CPF against supply chain risks
Build supply chain resilience and mitigation plans
Combine technology and networking agility to tap on global sourcing channels
Develop strong relationships with internal business stakeholder
Establish targets for procurement savings and ensure disciplined execution and monitoring
Partner closely with Business Unit Leaders to support fiscal performance, including leveraging best possible price and conditions across CPF
Establish, monitor and analyze key performance indicators and budget to measure effectiveness of own functional area
Owns, communicates, and operates within procurement policies and processes-
Drives continuous improvement, functional excellence, and process improvements
Lead and develop talent and ensure succession planning are in place for the key procurement function roles
Model CPF’s Ways, exhibiting desired behaviors and approaches in all business activities
Actively manages team and individual performance, coaches and develops team members for high performance, develops next generation talent
Manages Ambiguity - Operating effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or related field, MBA is preferred
10+ years of relevant global procurement or purchasing experience
Capability using advanced procurement principles and supply chain management
Experience in strategic sourcing for indirect materials is an advantage
Experience leading Supplier Diversity and Sustainable Purchasing programs
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation.
