Collaborate with user and suppliers to develop URS (User Requirement Specification) After completed, get sign off from Mars stakeholders.
Manage on site contractor for any hardware installation or cabling work required for the project.
Align with Solution provider for Data requirement and evaluate data readiness of the factory. Summarize any gap that require additional investment and align with Mars Stakeholder to raise the project to cover those gaps.
Based on above data requirement and gap, understand data engineering, and perform data enablement from low level device up until historization in both on-premise data center and on cloud. This task will involve hands-on configuration or working with supplier on below item:
Working with site team to understand source of data.
Connecting Sensor/Device to local control system
Mapping/Transforming data as needed and store them into process historian (Factory Talk or Wonderware Historian) or any local database.
Connecting data to Azure cloud if needed through Keptware -> IoT Edge -> IoT Hub -> ADLS
Ensure that data quality is good before handover to supplier.
Manage project timeline and cost. Working with supplier to deliver project as per agreed requirement.
Periodically update project progress and report to Mars management team.
Able to develop small scale digital application or proof of concept using platform such as Thingworx, Microsoft Power App, Power BI.
Work with factory stake holder to drive adoption of deployed solution and realize benefit.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma 's Degree in Automation/Control systems or Computer Science
Proven working knowledge at least 3 years’ experience in Operational Technology(OT)-Information Technology(IT) integrated environment both hands-on and project management.
Familiar with Industrial automation and control system including but not limited to - Allen Bradley (Rockwell Automation) Factory talk system, Schneider Control Expert, Wonderware Intouch, AC/DC Drive, Motor, Inverter, HMI.
Hands on experience working with following technology stack.
PTC Kepware and Thingworx Platform
Azure IoT Hub and Datalake.
Microsoft Power Platform
Python, Java, JavaScript
Familiar with Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
