Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand credit risk requirements and translate them into data modeling solutions
Develop, implement and maintain credit risk models including A-score, B-score, PD, EAD and LGD that align with business, regulatory and accounting requirements for credit card and personal loan business
Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless integration of data models into existing systems and processes
Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of credit risk data
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to credit risk modeling
Leverage data from data warehouses to conduct statistical analyses and communicate results to business stakeholders
Conduct regular audits and assessments of existing data models to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in data modeling, specifically in the context of credit risk within the credit card industry
2-5 years' experience in Data Science, preferably in Banking & Financial services.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and data modeling tools
Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders
