Data Management
- Develop and lead strategy for effective management of data owned to support business operations, strategic objectives, and analytics.
- Ensure metadata and lineage, DQ and data access for the accountable data comply with established DG framework.
Data Access
- Review, provide feedback, and approve data classifications and accesses.
Metadata Management
- Identify, prioritize critical data/CDEs including upstream, downstream and data exchanges.
- Support data stewards in developing business glossary and lineage.
- Provide feedback and approve the business metadata and lineage definitions.
Data Quality
- Partner with data stewards to investigate root causes of data issues for accountable data and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Review the DQ performance levels across data under ownership and suggest key improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelorâs or masterâs degree.
- 5+ years of experience in implementation of industry-leading DG tools like Collibra, Unity Catalog and Ataccama
- In-depth understanding of the data domainâs structure, content, and business significance
- Understanding of the business impact and risks associated with the data domain.
- Possess a familiarity with data management and governance roles, processes and standards.
- Analytical skills are necessary for understanding enterprise level data quality, metadata management, access and related metrics.
- Project Management Skills are required to manage the complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
