In this role, you will get to:
- Analyze business requirements and data sources to design and maintain sophisticated data models on the DWH.
- Structure, optimize, and maintain the data model and data dictionary for the DWH.
- Conduct impact analysis for changes or new projects on data sources affecting the DWH.
- Deliver refined Data Models to development and reporting teams and facilitate sessions for the verification and validation of the design model.
- Engage in advanced problem analysis and collaborate with reporting and development teams to ensure data quality assurance.
- Develop long-term solutions to minimize data quality issues and program bugs.
- Lead or support the structuring and maintenance of the data model, including the data dictionary for the DWH.
You'll be successful if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years in data modeling, data warehouse design, application development and support. Expertise in DWH design, reporting tools, Oracle databases, Unix shell scripting, and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with data modeling tools
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and database design.
- Excellent analytical skills with a background in data quality assurance.
- Competence in SQL, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Capable of performing impact analysis and developing long-term solutions to data quality issues.
