Leads the PP/GA advocacy agenda for PepsiCo IndoChina CU across all areas: own and drive the defense of the business with government stakeholders especially in the areas of agronomy, taxation, and health/wellness.
Creates and implements new government advocacy platforms, campaigns and solutions as government legislation proposals enter previously “unchartered territory” in CU.
Leads the full compliance of regulatory requirement covering permits/licenses/approvals for the facility operation and it business in CU and across an increasing number of manufacturing facilities
Leads, counsels and coaches business leaders and team members on all government advocacy in defense of PepsiCo products and business.
Leads the CU program agenda for Chairman.
Works with the corporate comms team to identify external and internal communication initiatives and opportunities that drive positive perception of PepsiCo’s Products, act ivies and corporate reputation in CU.
Contributes to the corporate Media Relations strategy and works closely with the Comms team

Sponsors and oversees Citizenship/CSR activities in CU – including NGO partnerships, private-public partnerships, and internal employee volunteering initiatives –that enhance external reputation and advance internal employee engagement and reflect SBP priority “Ramp up” Government and Community Engagement.”
Advances Consumer Relations platforms in line with Region/Sector expansion plans
As a member of CU Committee, drive functional perspectives and partnerships with other business and functional leaders in line with POM: be a strategic advisor to CU GM, MU GMs and Ex-Com peers.
Owns the seamless combination, integration, and functional stewardship for the two separate functions of Corporate Communications and PP/GA
Leadership Team Accountabilities
Develops and leads highly motivated team across these two integrated functions, in line with PepsiCo Career Development Objectives and Framework and PepsiCo Values
Provides and facilitates coaching, mentoring and professional development opportunities for direct and dotted line reports in line with Career Development plans.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in business administration, or Communications or a related field of study
10+ years of progressive experience with proven leadership track record in broad-based Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at senior level
Demonstrated experience working with CEOs, GMs, and other senior leaders in FMCG multi-brand environment
Proven experience in Journalism, Government considered an advantage.
Mastery of all principles, execution, and advanced technical specialized expertise in all Corporate Communications and Public Policy/Government Affairs disciplines
Proven track records for developing effective stakeholder relations strategies aligned with organizational goals and business outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential, including writing experience across varied media and communications channels (Speeches, news releases, internal business leaders’ communication etc.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand business at both strategic and tactical level
