Responsibilities:
Efficiently Converts Raw Materials into Finished Goods
- Responsible for CAPA performance in operation and ensure that CAPA process is followed through effectively until closed.
- Initiate improvement projects to improve areas of quality, productivity, safety, waste reduction, working process and operating system.
- Lead and manage throughout improvement projects to be completed smoothly and collaboratively within the budget and time frame.
Optimises the Supply Chain
- Support CVS phase of factory / production line expansion to ensure on time start-up, and therefore site master plan is delivered as planned.
- Responsible for Site manufacturing data reporting and administration of data reporting tools.
- Interact with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment efficiency, as well as, eliminate waste
Analyses and Improves Performance
- Identify opportunities and initiates projects to achieve MCC improvement which means reduce manufacturing cost and increase profit margin.
- Supports and lead projects in DiB work stream to achieve identified MCC improvement.
- Implement focused improvement projects in conjunction with the FI pillar and Continuous Improvement teams, directed at equipment stops reduction and waste reduction
- Perform root cause analysis on process interruptions by leading small group of associates thru Mars problem solving tools
- Participate for implement and strengthen building blocks for Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) for example 5S, Kaizen, AM/PM/FI/FMOS etc.
- Participate and support the implementation of AM activities, as well as, development of Autonomous Work Teams (AWT) on new equipment.
- Participate and support the sustainment of AM / AWT at existing equipment thru health checks, daily / weekly audits and feedback to zone owners.
- Responsible for quality of KAIZEN projects.
- Responsible for process effectiveness of FMOS (Factory Mars Operating System). Also being a key member by assign in Daily Performance Meeting and responsible for escalation process of issues / abnormality handling that required supports, from both FMOS and daily performance meeting.
- Drive the mindset and methodology to increase “Mean Time Between Failures” (MTBF) and Zero Breakdown and zero losses culture
- To be key technical in pouch operation trainer for working team.
- Special project assigned by Line Manager
Qualifications & Other Requirements:
- Minimum education is bachelor’s degree of mechatronic engineering or electronic & automation related field, engineer preferable.
- Good English writing and speaking and be comfortable presenting in front of others
- Essential computer skills ex. MS office (Words and Excel), Power point etc.
- Good interpersonal skill, able to work with cross functional team
- 7 years of experience in production process Ability to teach others with tools such as one point lessons and leading by example
- Mechanical machinery aptitude is essential
- Fundamental electrical and automation understanding
- Fundamental understanding of industrial controls
- Strong organizational skills and self-directed capability
- Ability to lead a small team of people to achieve a common solution
- TPM, AM, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving experience / training is desired
