Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Liaising with the Bank of Thailand for Qashier's license application and other regulatory inquiries.
• Serving as the subject matter expert and advisor on local operations in compliance matters
• Responsible for end-to-end AML Compliance procedures in Thailand, and monitoring a wide range of compliance risk
• Reporting and responding to incidents of non-compliance through reviews or investigations
• Recommending process and control improvements and overseeing the implementation of corrective action plans
• Provide regulatory compliance training to the local team

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree, preferably legal or business-related
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in payments companies, financial institutions, regulators, law firms, and/or audit firms
• Experience in interacting with financial regulators in Thailand
• Strong communication skills in Thai and English (both written and verbal)
• Sound knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and the payments industry
• Independent worker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound compliance/regulatory decisions
• Strong team player to work with various internal stakeholders to effectively implement the compliance program
