Manage projects including financial position and viability review, liquidity& working capital management, operational improvement, strategic business plan development, debt and capital restructuring, turnaround plan and strategy, managed exit work developing exit options such as closure, spin-off and accelerated sale (distressed M&A), and implementation of business turnaround/ transformation plan for on a day to day basis with director/partner oversight Financial modeling and forecasting
Participate in negotiations and liaising with other advisors and all stakeholders in the projects
Deliver end-to-end project management of transaction execution, including direct liaison with clients and lenders
Provide support to the director/partner in managing external stakeholders as well as managing turnaround and other service line teams involved
Engage in marketing and thought leadership initiatives.
Manage the preparation and presentations of major proposals/pitches, ensuring correct scoping and matching to client needs
Participate in discussions around preparation of the practice business plan
Identify future trends & issues and new services to support practice growth
Assume more responsibility for ongoing longer term client relationships
Manage small teams and create effective delegation and development opportunities for individual team members
Take a leading role in aspects of practice group and firm-wide professional development activities
Assume a mentor role with junior team members
Work cross-functionally across different practices and businesses within the firm
Understand and actively manage the Firm’s risk from take-on through to completion of Engagements
Qualifications:
At least 7 years of working experience within a Restructuring Services or, Investment Banking, or Credit Analyst
Strong financial analysis skills and commercial acumen with a proven ability in interpreting and analysing key business drivers
Capability in building and reviewing financial forecast models. Familiarity with data analytics and visualisation tools would be an added advantage
An ability to problem-solve by thinking critically about issues facing clients, identifying options and devising solutions to overcome obstacles
Strong communication skills, including report writing and an ability to build client and internal relationships
Proven project management skills including responsibility for delivering to project timetables and balancing competing priorities
Ability to mentor and lead junior team members and support the wider corporate finance team on client engagements
Professional credentials such as CPA, SEC-FA license, CFA and Knowledge of Business Reorganization Process under Thai Bankruptcy Act is a plus.
