Manage, update receiving transaction and work with capital owner in asset addition and adjustment via Seagate web-based Capital Tracking System and dispose asset via Seagate Asset Management System before interface to SAP ERP
Assign tag numbers to fixed assets and record asset impairment
Obtain information from internal and external sources to record accounting transactions in the general ledger for all PP&E accounts
Reconcile the PP&E balance in the fixed asset register against General Ledger
Analyze account balances and is responsible for properly supported account reconciliations on monthly analysis reporting
Prepare Fixed A schedules report monthly, quarterly and yearly
Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
Be responsible for accuracy and timeliness of transactions in the sub-ledger and general ledger accounts
Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries
Feedback and resolve internal and external customer (local site finance, engineer, other Global Finance Share Service team, etc.) inquiries, including audit inquiries from internal and external auditors
