The Role:
Manage the TrueID Platform team’s projects to ensure timely delivery, risk identification, and escalations
- Working with Product owner and Engineering Manager to break the project into tasks/user stories
- Setting an appropriate timeline for the development of certain deliverables
- Tracking the project progress and issues
- Highlighting the project dependencies
Lead the team to achieve a common goal
- Managing team members' times and achieving their commitment to the project
- Keeping the team’s efforts aligned with the team and company goals
Liaise with internal stakeholders including product owners, engineering manager, content managers, and marketing managers, to keep track of project progress and issues
- Meeting with internal stakeholders
- Managing the minute of the meeting
- Following up on the action items from the meeting
Drive the agile process and provide mentoring and training to the team members
- Work with Product owners to build and maintain the product roadmap for Backend project
- Leading agile ceremonies e.g. backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective, etc
- Collaborating with QA to validate and load tests in order to ensure the product quality
- Protecting the team from over-committing, scope creep, or external impediment
Be the key point of contact for technical questions, concerns, and feedback that can come from various stakeholders
- Managing internal/external stakeholder expectations
- Answering all business/technical questions from various teams
- Sharing the result of experiments with all stakeholders
- Reporting the project status, issues, or any concerns to the management
Your profile
- Degree in Computer, IT, Stats, or Engineering degree is preferred
- Proven experiences as a Technical Project Manager with deep knowledge into software development technologies
- Understanding software development processes and procedures
- Understanding machine learning processes and procedures
- Expert in project tracking, roadmap planning, product backlog
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, negotiate and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
- Experience in Mobile/Web application and Platform development
- Any PMP certification will be an advantage
