Senior Operational Risk

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review the operational risk management policy/procedure to ensure alignment with standard practices and appropriateness to the organization's needs.
• Implement the operational risk framework, including Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), and Risk Event Data (RED) for each department.
• Identify risk areas within operational processes and develop appropriate action plans to prevent issues.
• Collect KRIs and monitor action plans for each department according to specified periods.
• Implement and review Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for each department.
• Coordinate with related departments to conduct Business Continuity Planning (BCP) tests and summarize the results.
• Ensure operational processes align with the Data Privacy Protection Act (PDPA) guidelines by coordinating with relevant departments.
• Review IT Risk Management policies and procedures.
• Review IT Risk Assessments and report escalated risk issues to the related committees.
• Prepare operational risk reports for the Risk Management Committee and Audit Committee.
• Enhance awareness of operational risk management across the firm through training sessions and materials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Operational Risk Management/Audit in asset management firms or financial institutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent judgment with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and service-minded.
• Well-organized, team-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge and experience in technology risk and PDPA would be advantageous.
