Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Data and AI Specialist at LearnCloud. The specialist will lead the Data and AI Department, with a primary focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enhance our educational platforms. The role involves designing and implementing data-driven strategies, developing AI models, and utilizing data insights to improve learning experiences. The position is based in Bangkok City, Thailand, with some remote work acceptable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of NLP models and solutions to enhance educational content.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures tailored for NLP applications.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and leverage machine learning techniques to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP and AI solutions into various products and services.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems, particularly in the context of NLP data processing.
- Develop and maintain a scalable data platform supporting real-time data processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Continuously improve data quality, accessibility, and integration across various systems and departments.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP, data science, and AI.
- Prepare and present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a scalable, robust data platform.
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in NLP, including developing and deploying machine learning models for language understanding, text processing, and related applications.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Hugging Face.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles, particularly as they apply to NLP data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on NLP applications.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- Experience in AWS and GCP.
- Experience in the additional AI skills (e.g., image processing, classification).
- Experience in the EdTech sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in Thai and English for effective communication with local and international teams.
