IT Security Internship

Job Description

• Assist in designing and implementing security architectures to safeguard enterprise information systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Participate in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into system development processes.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Support the configuration and management of security tools and technologies.
• Conduct research on emerging security threats and trends to help inform security strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of security documentation and reports.

Job Qualification

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Some relevant experience or coursework in cybersecurity, including knowledge of security principles, standards, and practices.
• Understanding of network security, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, and IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
