The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse activities, ensuring that materials, parts, and components are controlled, recorded, and reported accurately on a daily basis, to align with company planning and asset management. This position includes supervising and training staff to optimize warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise warehouse operational activities, including staffing, KPIs, and coordination with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term Warehouse management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure procedures and processes are current and executed according to guidelines.
- Control inventory stock levels by performing cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies with the SAP system.
- Oversee the input, storage, and output of materials, organizing the warehouse, labeling goods, and managing locations.
- Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring the quality and quantity of goods.
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, and plan and implement layouts as needed.
- Establish warehouse processes to efficiently manage the status of arriving goods, ensuring smooth operations.
- Ensure all operations comply with laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
- Ensure tasks are completed on time with the correct parts/materials and quantities.
- Provide coaching and disciplinary actions to staff, and plan, monitor, and evaluate job results.
- Develop initiatives to optimize logistics costs.
- Monitor warehouse stock levels and request orders from Supply Chain as required.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and issue monthly reports to the Head of Manufacturing and Finance team, providing explanations to top management for any data inaccuracies.
