Transport Manager

Responsibilities

• Take full leadership, operational and financial responsibility for managing a safe, efficient, and profitable site for the organization and the customer(s) that fully complies with operation standards.
• Maximize the contribution of the site departments and functions while balancing multiple and competing requirements.
• Support Country Safety & Security Lead in investigating any Incident happen at site.
• Involve customers and employees in Safety & Security activities to ensure awareness of all relevant risks, and an effective response to all threats is implemented in the operation or section of the operation.
• Review SOP and Site manual operation together with implement all OMS routines.
• Manage and control team to achieve transport operations’ objectives and KPIs
• Set clear standards for activities and ensure that these standards are communicated to individuals and reinforced through personal example, defined responsibility and clear accountability.
• Review and update the weekly team performance report with General Manager Transport
• Review and update daily and weekly performance with Customer.
• Lead monthly meeting with customer
• Arrange the site operation monthly meeting, mini town-hall meeting and one-on-one meeting.
• Ensure the EOS improvement plans are set and executed.
• Initiate and execute the continuous improvement projects.
• Responsible customer requirements and KPIs : On time Delivery , POD return, RG return , Damage , Billing Accuracy , customer complaint should not lower than customer target.
• Manage operations issues and complaints.
• Manage and follow up daily operations to achieve the targets.
• Monitor and control transport operations cost by daily to be aligned with budget

Requirements

• 5 – 8 years experiences in Transport and logistics & Supply Chain or related filed
• Experience in Transport Operation
• Understand operation and warehouse management process
• Knowledge in Transport Business (3PL), Contract Management with subcontractor / Commercial, Site P&L, Site Management , Transport Management system
• Good skill of Stakeholder Management, Client relationship Management, Conflict management, People Management and Leadership Management
• Good command of speaking and writing both in Thai and English
• Work well under pressure
• Good in problem solving
• Good analytical skill
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
