Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic social media plans to grow The Thaiger's English and Thai Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as ASEAN NOW social media channels, focusing on driving engagement, follower growth, and brand awareness.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of these social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and publishing across platforms, ensuring consistency in both English and Thai languages.
• Utilise third-party tools for social media management, including scheduling, analytics, and performance tracking.
• Monitor social media trends, audience behaviours, and industry developments to ensure content remains relevant and impactful for both English and Thai-speaking audiences.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other team members to develop compelling and shareable content in both languages.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and enquiries promptly and professionally in both English and Thai.
• Analyse and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest platform updates, tools, and best practices to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience managing and growing large Facebook and Instagram channels, with a focus on bilingual (English and Thai) content.
• Proficiency with third-party social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) for scheduling, publishing, and analytics.
• Fluent in both English and Thai, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong understanding of social media metrics and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create content that resonates with both English and Thai-speaking audiences.
• Creative thinker with a passion for social media and a strong sense of current trends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
